For a custom design, Fancy Cat couples invest an average of $1250 for digitally printed invitations (prices increase if you decide to opt for add-ons (wax seals, etc.) or upgraded printing techniques (letterpress, foil, etc.), and for day-of goods, $300-1000+. There is no minimum for invitations, though, we do have a $250 minimum for day-of goods.

Both of these items will be sent to you via a password-protected client portal, which you can refer back to at any time for record keeping.

Once the deposit has been made, there will be a 1-2 week waiting period. During this time, I'll work on compiling 2-3 concepts for your project.

After you receive the initial draft, we'll work on fine-tuning and narrowing it down to one design.

We get that custom stationery and signage is a huge investment. That said, we allow unlimited edits, as long as the timeline is considered. Most clients go through 3-4 rounds. Each additional round beyond that may push the completion date out by one week. Don't worry- if you have a strict deadline, we'll be sure to keep it in mind.

Once the design has been signed off on, your project will be sent to production. For stationery, production times will depend on quantity and printing style. Suites typically take 1.5-2 weeks to be returned from the printer. Letterpress and foil often fall within this time range, but on some occasions, can take a little longer.

For day-of signage, depending on what you need, turnaround times can range 2-4 weeks.

We do not have minimums, but design fees remain the same regardless of quantity.


What if my quantities change in the middle of the design process?
If you end up needing more or less than the number originally submitted, please let us know ASAP. If your items have not been ordered or sent to print, we can likely accommodate your request without any additional fees beyond costs for the extra materials. However, please keep in mind- every case is different.

I want custom invitations, but have no idea what I want them to look like. Can you help with this?
Of course! That's what we're here for! We will need a small amount of information from you, though (e.g., desired colors, and a little about what you are attracted to visually) to help us get started.

How does printing work?
Depending on budget, digital printing is the most basic and cost-effective option. From there, projects can be upgraded to have a letterpress, foil, or white ink finish.

How will I receive my proofs?
All proofs will be submitted as PDFs via email. If you are interested in receiving a physical proof before the rest of your pieces are printed, depending on timing, we can accommodate this request for an additional charge. Just be sure to let us know as soon as you decide.

Can I rush my order?
Most of the time, YES, but rush options are dependent on the print shop, and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Rush orders are charged an additional 20%.
